The Open Bridge project includes the prototype shelving product itself, which should be built with easily-accessiv.
The basic use of the OpenBridge is to hang it off your picket-fence or mail-box or tree-branch and to put things on it that you are no longer in need of in a public area. The essence of it being that one man's trash is another man's treasure. So by having space that is
clearly earmarked for reusable/recyclable material less trash ends up in the landfill. The OpenBridge can also be used for placing recyclable material that Binners' can pickup and return at recycling depots earn a living off.

This project is about behavior change and process design for a specific area of the social- and the ecological environment.
We want to keep relationships with resources and fellows in mind. It‘s not just binding wood it‘s also a bridge for binding the society. The Open Bridge project includes the prototype shelving product itself, which should be built with easily-accessible materials and tools, such as salvaged wood pallets and rope. A campaign — including a magazine, tutorial videos, and advertisements — explains the system and the benefits of supporting Open Bridge. These campaign materials would also empower the binning community with basic design and construction skills for the purpose of innovation and life improvement.
